Sonnenalp Waterworld Sauna

Come to our "Quellengarten WaterWorld and Sauna Centre". Water is the elixir of life and the fount of all creation. Our spacious, light and airy "Quellengarten WaterWorld and Sauna Centre" is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Panorama style windows bring the beauty of the surrounding landscape tangibly close. Trees and rocks surround the pool that is connected to an equally large outdoor pool. A constant 28 degrees makes the pool ideal whatever the season. From May to October there is an open air pool that is kept at a steady 24 degrees and is ideal for those all-important work-out lengths.
Further highlights include two open air whirlpools affording stunning views of the mountains. The Alpine sauna centre offers a range of saunas for guests to enjoy including two Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, a steam room and a whirlpool. The "Seepferdl" restaurant in the "Quellengarten" has tables both indoor and outdoors alongside the pool where guests can partake of light cuisine and delicious cakes from the in-house conditorei.
Our Quellengarten comprises:

  • 1,400 m² of facilities with a ceiling height of 12 m
  • Large indoor pool: 190 m² and 23 m long,
  • The pool is kept at 28°C and comprises water jet beds, floor jets, a waterfall and massage jets, baby pool and learners’ pool
  • Hot whirlpool (38°C) with lots of massage jets
  • 2 outdoor whirlpools: 36 °C and 28 °C
  • All-weather outdoor pool
  • Outdoor pool covers 220 m², is 32 m long, with water at 28°C, there is a connecting corridor accessing the indoor pool, wild water river, water jet beds, fountains, neck showers, floor jets and a bubble corner and corridor to the outside pool
  • Garden pool: 830 m², 24°C, with diving boards and a waterfall


Guests enjoy the relaxation opportunities just as much as the activities on offer. The benefits of saunas have been known for many centuries. Regular sauna sessions are known to improve metabolism, boost the immune system and improve the constitution. A session in the sauna can also lift the spirits, reduce irritability and help with sleep problems and headaches. Our Sonnenalp Sauna Centre provides numerous opportunity to enjoy this health giving warmth.
